5 Chic Bags to Complete Any Outfit

Bags, the indispensable accessory. They often get in the way, dig into our shoulders/hands/elbow pits and can end up being heavier than a small child but we feel naked without them. This is why it is important to have a collection that meets all of your needs. Here I have raided my wardrobe and compiled my top 5 most frequently used 'weekend' bags (i.e. not fit for work).

The Practical One

The Classic One

Anyone who follows me on Instagram will recognise this one. I wear this small black and gold cross body bag with anything and everything. It is 'The Classic One' because it so simple, chic and it works with any look. (From Zara)

The Versatile One

Next up we have a cute little nude purse style bag. This bag has a slight disadvantage in that it is particularly small, if I arrange my stuff well I can fit the absolute essentials in, but that's about it. It is 'The Versatile One' because it has a removable chain strap which means it can be worn as a clutch bag, cross body/shoulder bag and I have also worn it recently as a bumbag by putting a safety pin through the chain links to tighten it around my waist #thrifty. (From H&M)

The OTT One

This glitterbomb clutch is the one I wear less often but makes a massive statement when I do, hence 'The OTT One'. It looks incredible with an all black ensemble as well as embroidered Indian outfits. It is a fairly large envelope clutch and shimmers all night long. (From Asos)

The Luxe One

Finally, we have this absolutely beautiful velvet, embroidered, black and gold bag. I cannot express enough how much I adore this bag. It can be worn with so many different looks, both casual and smart. It has a detachable strap so it can be worn as a carry tote, on the shoulder or as a cross body to suit your look and the amount of space inside is incredible! (From Delilah's Dressing Room)

I hope that you enjoyed having a look through my top 5 bags, hopefully you have been inspired and have found something that you like in the links provided.

If you have any questions or would like me to do anymore research into finding the bag that you are looking for, as always, please get in touch via my contact page, Instagram or comment below. I love hearing from you!
